Valentine’s Week Pop-Up at Kit+Syl Studio featuring: True Path Oracle

I’ve met Reagan Monarch twice so far. Unbeknown to me until our second meeting, the first time was at the Saranac Lake Hotel Farmer’s Market. This was about a year ago. The first and only time I held a table at this market. Reagan bought a pair of my earrings. We chatted while I boxed up her purchase. Turns out we lived fairly close to each other, and that she worked as an art teacher in the Willsboro school district (a rather beloved art teacher, I now understand). That was an unexpectedly successful market for me. I planned on attending again this year, but then, well you know, COVID.

Skip ahead to the winter of 2020, and Melissa Maki of Gratitude for Wellness messages me. She has a friend who she thinks I should connect with. This friend is an artist who is working on a line of ornaments that I might want to sell in the store. Turns out this friend is Reagan. At this point, I have not made the connection that my and Reagan’s paths have already crossed.

In January I began planning the pop-up series for Valentine’s week. Melissa once again suggested that I reach out to Reagan. I thought, wow, Melissa must really be impressed with this woman’s work. Trusting that Melissa would not steer me wrong I reach out to Reagan a second time- does she want to hold a pop-up on one of the days of the week leading up to Valentine’s Day?

Reagan is enthusiastic about participating in the pop-up and claims the main attraction- 2/14. We set a time for her to come by and see the shop. When we meet in person she reminds me that this is not our first introduction, and she is actually the owner of a pair of my earrings. Yes! Now I remember. I love moments like this. A funny reconnecting of energies in the universe. Reagan supported my business that day at the market, and now I have a chance to help spread the word about her work with True Path Oracle.

When planning Reagan’s pop-up we agreed that she would hold 15-minute mini-sessions. Each session would include an aura cleansing, card reading and complimentary gift. I know next to nothing about tarot and auras, and I definitely didn’t know how the community would respond to such an event. Turns out the response has been overwhelmingly positive. Reagan’s appointments booked up quickly that I asked if she would extend her day and she generously agreed. I have 3 appointments left. Please email me at hello@kitandsylstudio.com if you would like to claim one.

As with my previous two guests, Reagan agreed to a brief interview meant to introduce her to the Kit+Syl community.

Hi Reagan, What does Valentine's Day mean to you?

Valentine’s Day is a celebration historically honoring traditional, courtly love--a day often filled with lush roses, love letters, and sparkly gems.  This holiday, nestled in the magic of winter, has transformed in meaning to me.  It is an opportunity to express true love with a sense of oneness, grace, and compassion.  On this day, I now celebrate One Love--the only love.  I embrace the Divine love within us all and radiate that light to empower myself and the collective knowing that ‘as above, so below’.

How long have you lived in the area, and what brought you here?

I am an Adirondack native, aspiring 46er, mixed media artist, visual arts educator, and intuitive empath.  As Vice-Chair of the Adirondack Art Association, I also serve as a voice for other artists in our local communities.  Several years ago, my journey took me to the coast of Maine where much of my spiritual growth took root.  My True Path eventually led me back home to the mountains I adore.

Why do you do what you do?

My True Path involves a realization of my soul’s purpose in this dimension.  I provide spiritual guidance from Source through channeled messages, chakra coaching, and aura cleansing to raise the vibration of the collective and to strengthen the connection to One Love.  I provide a safe and sacred space for all to grow as we walk the True Path together.

I hope to see you this week for our Valentine’s Week Pop-Ups at Kit+Syl Studio. All pop-ups will run from noon to 3 PM. Social distancing and masks are mandatory for attendance.

For Valentine’s Day Sunday, 2/14 Reagan Monarch, founder of True Path Oracle will be in the studio. Reagan Monarch is an artist and intuitive empath serving the Adirondack region.  She works with Source energy, channeling messages from Spirit, to provide guidance for individuals on their Path.

Teddi Rogers

I am a lifelong, 2D artist who decided to learn the art of jewelry making.  Little did I know that I would fall in love with, the hammer, the saw, and the drill.

Welcome to Kit+Syl!  My shop was aptly named in honor of my style savvy grandmothers, Kitty Rogers and Sylvia Fader.  Every Kit+Syl piece is an exploration of the relationship between design and nature, and is a celebration of the beautiful imperfections that result from working by hand.

When designing I aim to create pieces that are lightweight and easy to wear, but also visually striking.  Each piece reflects my love of texture, asymmetry, and my desire to build pieces that compliment the female form.  I stay true to my style, which embraces contrast.  You will notice that my designs are delicate and intricate, but my materials are strong metals, often roughly hammered.

Every piece is well suited to compliment casual or formal attire.  Thank you so much for your interest in my art.  I hope you love wearing the work as much as I love making it!
